Recently, the team at New Balance had me to try out their latest creation – truebalance – a new toning shoe with “hidden” toning technology allows women to tone their bodies without calling attention to themselves or their footwear by using a special balance board technology — completely proprietary to New Balance. The technology design forces the body to maintain a natural balance with every step, activating muscles in the legs, glutes, and core.
While I typically wear boots on the weekend, l decided to ditch my sherpas, slipped on my New Balance kicks and got ready for a marathon weekend that did not include a visit to the gym. The truebalance foot wear (I’ve got the blue pair) actually looks kinds of snazzy with my jeans and, here’s the bonus – they’re toning sneakers so when I’m on the sidelines cheering my son at his soccer game, or running errands in the supermarket, or racing to get to my daughter’s double header, I’m actually toning my thighs, calves and glutes – gotta love that! Of course, a visit to the gym wouldn’t hurt and I have worn them there too, but at least it’s a start that I’ve got them on all day instead of for that one hour when I’m watching “Live with Regis and Kelly” on the elliptical machine.
As I attempt to shed some fall foliage lbs. in time for the holidays, I’m going to put my fashionable truebalance sneakers to good use and plan to even slip them on during my commute into Manhattan. Considering I do my best speed walking while texting to and from meetings, my calves and thighs should be slimmer in no time.
If you’re on the lookout for a way to tone your body while you’re going about your daily routine, give New Balance truebalance sneakers a try and let us know what you think!
