We recently held the kickoff event for the 2nd Anuual Gal to Gal Virtual Walk at the showroom of eco-designer Robin Wilson. The event, which was hosted by Design her Gals and Role Mommy (that would be me), was emceed by Tamsen Fadal, the lifestyle reporter for the CW11 morning news whose mother developed breast cancer when Tamsen was 14. Her mother fought her illness for six more years until she lost her battle when Tamsen was 20 years old.
Additionally, stars from the hit daytime drama “Guiding Light” stopped by to honor wife and mother, Dorit Shapiro, who is the president of the Gal to Gal Foundation and is currently battling stage IV breast cancer.
