Parentville had the chance to see this Loopa Bowl invented by parents for snacks, which has a wonderful design and is BPA-free, and spill-free! It is set on hinges and rotates like a "gyro" to stay vertical even when your kid is not holding the bowl that way! Snacks stay in the bowl whichever way toddler grabs the easy-to-hold outer handles. It comes with a cover for travel and is dishwasher safe.
Thanks to our friends at Mamaista.com and their clever kid and mom finds, we found the Yubo lunch box and had the chance to try one out. This is a terrific lunch box designed by parents. It's eco-friendly because you are not wasting bags, it's BPA- free, and the plastic is treated with an anti-microbial agent. It's dishwasher safe and it can be personalized with character tags and faceplates. You can buy additional tags and faceplates or design your own (e.g., photo upload) for purchase.
The box opens on both ends for easy cleaning and includes two easy-open cylinder containers and one large square one. You can adjust the handle so the box can be carried vertically or horizontally. You can purchase additional oval food containers and attachable Neoprene drink holder. The deluxe box comes with an ice pack.
This box is a bit heavy for a 2 1/2 year old, but it will grow with the child! Check it out in action with this video demonstration.
Parentville received this Boon Stash to try out, and we love its versatility. It comes in black or white and has three medium, three small, and three large containers to put stuff in!
The Stash is BPA and phthalate free. It can sit on your countertop or hang on the wall (hardware included). This is great for to keep feeding utensils, straws, valves, etc in the kitchen. Also good for changing table and kids' art table. Keep in mind it's about 12" long, by 6" deep by 8 ¼ inches wide, so you need to have space for it.
This Skip Hop Mate product is a great plate to learn eating. The divided plate sits in the center of the non-slip placemat that comes in three colors, and you can pop it out to clean it separately through holes in the back (that make a smiley face shape). It comes with a spoon and fork that fit on small pegs on the mat to help them stay put.
This is dishwasher safe, and the plate only is microwave safe. Everything is PVC, BPA and phthalate-free. You can also buy additional forks and plates extra, and you may need to because the forks can get a little bent.
A bit more decorative, we received these paper and laminated placemats (11x14) to try out from Dabney Lee. Available in bright, customizable patterns with the ability to add monograms, names, pictures and words, these make a moms' or kids' party fun. They are available in 25-packs of paper placemats for $40, made of 100% matte paper, so they can take a spill. They are sold separately if laminated ($18).
