Tissue Alert: Gifted Opens in Theaters Friday, April 7 #GiftedMovie

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to meet the cast of "Gifted," which stars Chris Evans, Jenny Slate, Octavia Spencer and McKenna Grace. While I really enjoyed the film and the message it shared about letting a brilliant young girl enjoy her childhood, I was blown away by the performance of the film's youngest star, McKenna Grace.

PADDINGTON is in theaters NOW!

I loved the books and even had the Paddington stuffed bear when I was little. Now in theatres, from the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman (HARRY POTTER), PADDINGTON tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear (voiced by Ben Whishaw) who travels to the city in search of a home. Finding himself lost and alone, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined - until he meets the kindly Brown family who read the label around his neck that says "Please look after this bear. Thank you." and offer him a temporary haven. It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist. Starring Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, and Nicole Kidman.

Million Dollar Arm: Two Hours of Hope, Inspiration & Smiles

I have to say, I was really looking forward to seeing "Million Dollar Arm," the true story of sports agent JB Bernstein who convinced an investor to launch a search for the next baseball phenom in India. Truth be told, I initially was excited to see the film because ever since I've become hopelessly addicted to "Mad Men," I've become a huge Jon Hamm fan. But after watching the movie with my husband and son, I realized that I am a total sap and love films that inspire and provide hope.

RIO 2! Coming to Theaters April 11th

As parents of young kids we are "forced" to see lots and lots of animated films. It's not like we can just drop them off, right? Sometimes we sit in the theatre wanting to pull our hair out and sometimes we sit there next to our kids with HUGE smiles on our faces, laughing, crying and cheering right along with them! One of the movies that I loved seeing with my kids was RIO, my husband and I saw it with them in the movie theater and we even watched it again On Demand with them. Kids can watch movies over and over but it really takes a great animated film for me to watch it more than once. When I saw that RIO 2 was coming out, we were all super excited!

Golden Globes 2013 Recap

Last night I was glued to my TV watching every moment of the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were the hosts of the show, and by far my favorite part. They were hysterical and looked beautiful. The opening was laugh out loud funny, and I got so excited every time they came on the stage because I knew they would be funny, I just wish they were on more.

Top 10 Wedding Movies

Prince william kate middleton.jpeg

In honor of the impending marriage of Prince William to Kate Middleton, I'm getting all sappy and reminiscent. I always love watching and/or participating in a great wedding and luckily, had my own fairytale wedding many years ago. In fact, we'll be celebrating our 15th anniversary this August and I will still never forget the moment I walked down the aisle to the theme from Phantom of the Opera. I kept telling everyone that the synagogue we were married in made me feel like Maria from the "Sound of Music" but I didn't think that "How do You Solve a Problem Like Maria" would have gone over with our guests.
