my printer is broken and it is SOOO ANNOYING. you never know how much you used something until its broken :-)

I use SpringPad to keep my calendar and recipes and I'd love to have an app to access all those things directly for printing.

I own the world's oldest printer..a Brother. It's long overdue for an upgrade and I'd love an all-in-one machine that does even more. Printing photos is something I've always wanted to do and my Brother isn't capable of printing quality photos.

In the very distant past, my current "all-in-one" machine did it all: It printed, faxed, scanned, picked winning lottery numbers (practically). Sadly, today it is a broken shell of its former multi-tasking self. The bugger won't fax, can't scan and prints as if it is doing so by hand with 97-year-old arthritic fingers. (As a point of reference, it takes almost as many hours to print a 10-page document as I just spent figuring out what an Open ID is and then creating one.) Oh, pretty-pretty please pick me!

I would love an app that can print out recipe cards, right size, right format (ingredients, instructions, nutrition info etc...)

I'd soooo love to win this printer because mine is like an antique, weighs as much as a dead elephant, and works when it feels like it. Whenever I want to print something, I have to see what kind of mood my printer is in. Then, if it balks, I have to email my husband and pester him at work to print out recipes, the kids homework, or information I need (specifically Mental Health help on how to cope with an obnoxious, doddering old printer).

I think it would be great to have a collage maker on the printer or cd burner.

I would love it to print out the numerous coupons that I now print out. Perhaps it could do a better job at printing out the Target coupons that always seem to beep at the register.

I would love a printer that scanned all the dimensions of artwork. I'd like the scanner light to not bounce off colors and destroy the layered effect but actually capture it.

I would love to win one of these for my kids' school, they always need more printers. So trying to think from a teacher's POV, my suggestion would be for easily placing kids' work into fun web-based frames and printing them. Maybe the kids could design their own frames online, then anything the teacher prints out for that kid could be in that frame...there's a germ of an idea there, I just haven't worked it out yet!

I would love a calendar planner type thing. My husband works out of town alot and both of my children are in school so it would be great if there was a planner I could print out on the printer to keep up with everything.

I would love to win this printer because I think it is really cool and my current printer is an old HP printer that is about 7 years old and I know the newer ones have much better printing resolutions.

I would say an app (I don't think I saw it) for families chore lists. Like every week my family does different chores and things to do (like kids practices) and would be nice to print out papers with our names on it for that. Also the person in a few comments above with the idea of printing the pages with photos out to put in your photo book is a great idea. I loved that one.

I believe this is one truly practical printer, especially for those who've got some connection with the world of education, of studying. Since photography is my hobby, I love creating digital scrapbooks and other unique photo items as gifts for our family members and friends. Our printer died a few months ago. It is much more expensive to use a print service, so I've been trying to figure out how to come up with some money to buy a new printer before the holidays get much closer. I think this HP Photosmart Premium with TouchSmart Web is just the most innovative and state of the art printer! I think all the apps that it has right now are fantastic, and will make life so much easier and more efficient because of them. I can see myself printing out directions, recipes, photographs, scrapbooking embellishments, coupons, documents for work, the list can just go on and on! One application that would be useful if HP wants some ideas is an app for Ebay Sellers. My husband is in charge of selling off part of his grandmother's estate and she has a lot of antiques. So he has been selling many of them on Ebay. If there was an application for printing out shipping labels, invoices, account activity, receipts, etc. for Ebay users that would be terrific and very useful to us and I am sure millions of other people!

I want to win this printer so, so badly because right now we are without, yes, without a working printer in our home. I have been going to our library and to Kinkos to print out documents that we have to print out and it is just so inconvenient. Pls tell HP it would really help if it could print movie tickets and especially if it could print grocery coupons directly from the websites...half the time you go to print a coupon and they make you install special software which you really don't want to do for everyone's individual coupons. It would be so nice if this printed them directly. Also printing tickets (plane, concert, etc. for that rare time I get to go somewhere) would be really nice and save me a ton of time

I recently saw this printer at a conference and fell in love with it. I would love it because it actually scans photos into really clear jpgs not only for printing but to save on your computer. I have so manhy old pictures that I would love to put on my blog and cannot because I haven't found a way to do it. The other thing I love about this printer is that you can print up calendars and I so need this to organize myself. The other cool thing that I loved was that kids can access the Disney site to be able to print coloring pages. So cool.

I'd like to be able to print a map showing the real estate for sale in the mapped area, along with the price and other useful information about the property. With this machine, I could get rid of my (cheap) fax machine, (cheap) color printer, and (pretty good) black and white printer. It would save some scarce space and provide better quality printouts.

I love the idea of printing directly from the web and printing coupons without having to print an entire page. I have been using HP printers since my very first computer way back in 1996. My last HP printer is now on it's last leg, and creaks every time it prints. As a professional photographer, and the person who does our church bulletins, I use my printer every single day. I need to upgrade, but haven't been able to do so yet. This would really save the day!

One feature I would love to see is that it would be wireless. Whenever we have a church function, I take my printer along with me to print out the photos then and there for our members. I'd love to be able to wirelessly connect into the church's network and print things that way!

I would like an app that prints out a puppy picture for every day of the year. I love puppies. My favorite type of puppy is a golden retriever. I bet you would use quite a bit of yellow when you print those puppies off. I can picture it now. I walk into the local Staples to buy some yellow ink and the cashier says, "Need to print more puppies off?" And I say, "That's right." And we all have a good laugh. Later that night a stork will fly down and lay a white cotton blanket filled with puppies onto my front porch. I will answer the door and the puppies will jump up and lick on my face. I would say "hey you silly puppies that tickles." And then I would take the puppies inside and I would strap jetpacks to them and continue my experiments.

I would love love love this printer! I have an HP all in one, but it's about 5 years old and this new hp has all the bells & whistles I wish my old one had!

I don't know what's possible and what's not, but what I would REALLY like is a way for the printer to know which color it is actually out of and let me replace just that one. I'm tired of having to buy color ink because I run out of red when there's plenty of blue and yellow left.

I print fairly frequently from flicker, snapfish, and facebook. I totally need a new printer too, my current one is about 15 years old, black and white, and does about 2 pages per minute (if that!). HP has always made the best printers... my current is HP... but they do eventually need to be updated. Thanks!

Wow, what a printer. I would love to give it a spin. It would be so great to be able to do storybooks with a printer. I do love the fact that you can print directly from the web with the HP printer - no need to boot up the computer. I love my new HP laptop and this printer would go great with it!

I would love to see an app that allowed me to subscribe to a variety of blogs and print out a set number of pages every day with updates that I haven't already read online. I could take that page or two with me to have something quick and simple to read.
