I bet you'll be surprised when I tell you this little tidbit about myself. I love racing games. While I would never think to set foot in a race car, from the time I was a kid, I used to love hopping inside one of those video games where you were virtually transported to a racetrack and attempted to corner those curves and cross the finish line without spontaneously combusting. In fact, about a month ago, I took my son bowling and after my 89th gutter ball, we hit the videogames. While Dylan played his own car game, I hopped aboard a motorcycle, flew through the air and crossed the finished line with a third place win. Of course, the vehicle was mounted to the floor so I got all the thrills of the real thing without being freaked out on the open road.

So imagine my excitement when my son and I got the chance to review the new game Nitro Need for Speed for Nintendo DS. This time, the excitement of car racing is placed in the palm of your hands. Customize your car, take corners at 200 mph, travel to exotic locations and even compete against evil villains! Plus, while you're racing, you're also being chased by the cops, who will do everything they can to disrupt the race.

As we get closer to Valentine's Day, I'm sure there are men and women out there who are frantically trying to figure out what to get their significant other. Jawbone is a hands free headset that comes in a variety of styles and colors with different size earplug holders to fit any size ear and a convenient on and off switch that won't drain the battery when you're not using it.

I recently received the brand new Jawbone ICON to review and this morning, after charging it up for an hour (a 40 minute charge works to), I flipped the switch, synced it to my blackberry and called my mom.

"Hello, Mom, it's Beth, can you hear me?"
"Hear you? You're coming in clear as a bell!"
"Really, because I'm trying out the new Jawbone ICON so I figured I'd test it out on you first."
"Well, you can tell those people at Jawbone that I can hear you perfectly down here in Boynton Beach."

Gotta love my mom - a ringing endorsement (no pun intended) that comes by way of Florida. Here's the deal - to truly figure out if your headset is working properly, you really need to ask if the people on the other end can hear you clearly - so part one of my testing worked.

While sitting at my laptop typing away, my cell rang and suddenly I mysterious voice whispered into my ear the phone number of the person who was calling me. Yup - the Jawbone ICON also features an incredible function that enables you to get voice activated caller ID. I answered the phone so easily - you can either press a button on the Jawbone or press answer on your own phone and off I was chatting away with a friend.

Best of all, as I walked around the house and outside to Cosi where I grabbed lunch, the Jawbone stayed in place and felt incredibly comfortable too. So all in all, while it's only day one with the Jawbone ICON, I am totally sold on the latest version. Plus, when I visited the website, I even signed myself up to participate in a beta program where I'm going to get to potentially post my status to Facebook and Twitter with my voice via my Jawbone headset. How cool is that - hands free posting - what a concept!

But enough about me. It is Giveaway Friday and all. In the very distant past, my current "all-in-one" machine did it all: It printed, faxed, scanned, picked winning lottery numbers (practically). Sadly, today it is a broken shell of its former multi-tasking self. The bugger won't fax, can't scan and prints as if it is doing so by hand with 97-year-old arthritic fingers. (As a point of reference, it takes almost as many hours to print a 10-page document as I just spent figuring out what an Open ID is and then creating one.) Oh, pretty-pretty please pick me!

Oh my family could really use this. We have a really old Hp printer that is just a printer. Would be nice to upgrade. I tried the comments but it didn't show up. I would like to see a chart app. like my family each has different chores we do a week so not much is piled on one person and the kids learn responsibility. I would love to have charts ready for other stuff as well.The woman that said the app that would make the pictures ready to go in a photo album was really good. I would love to see that also.

HP makes the best printers. Wireless and all in one is the only way to go. Wish I had one, since my old printer broke about a year ago.

As for an app idea, how about an app that makes printing Iron on Transfers easily? Sometimes printing iron on transfer paper can be a pain in the butt, so an app would make it easier for iron on projects.

I would love to win this printer because I take pictures of my kids all the time but rarely get prints from the digital copies. Have tons stored on my computer and would love to print them and do wonderful things with them like make photo books.

I've been plagued with printer bad luck, I've had to but two in the past six months, first one was yanked down to the floor by my 5 year old little cousin, she likes to hang with me and my baby jordan. While, the second one served as a place for my now one year old to empty his sippy cup in, go figure.
