The Weekly Fave Five
This week's fave five showcases some of the fabulous women who attended the Avon Tweetup with Suze Orman as well as some of our latest members to the Role Mommy community.
1. At the Avon Tweetup with Suze Orman, we got the chance to meet the women behind SmartCookies, a website and online community that'll help you get on track to meet your financial goals. If you've ever wondered where your money disappears each month, the Smart Cookies offer tools to help you track all your purchases, plus they enable their members to join money groups.
2. If you're a single mom and are looking for inspiration and resources on how to balance your family and career, then visit YourSingleParenting.com. The site was founded by Issa, a single mom and gifted writer who also pens the blog NYCMamasan.blogspot.com.
3. Looking for some moms just like you - real people with interests, passions and dreams they pursue while raising their children? Join Emily and Kristie from MommyBrainOnline.com every week for FUN, ideas, inspiration, support and encouragement! Friends for more than 30 years and mothers of 5 children between them from infant to teen, Emily and Kristie feel your pain of trying to be a good wife and mother and not losing what makes you unique in the process. You are not alone, come hang out with them each week and fuel your MommyBrain.
4. Here's a fun message from one of our blogging moms from the Role Mommy community. "There are some talented ladies in this group. Not sure I'm in the right place:) I don't bake, or sew, or have anything to sell. But, I love to talk, and blog, and meet new frenz. So, feel free to stop by my place, parenting BY dummies, I'm and expert at nothing, but I know pretty much everything! Ask my Hubby :)"
5. Our best wishes go out to Snips and Snails Boutique, a mom of three whose husband was recently in a car accident and underwent surgery this weekend.
