Get Going, America! Game Time! Write & Wipe Activities Tote and Funny Faces Sticker Fun! Activity Tote, from Peaceable Kingdom Press
This book will keep kids busy for a few hours. It comes with two pens and a wipe cloth which have their own holding place in the book. Get Going, America! features a host of activities, from a "Mad Libs"-type activity to mazes, word and landmark games, Bingo, and sprinkled with interesting state facts. Amazing what fun kids can have without your iPod!
We received these items to try out and were impressed how entertaining they could be for travel. The Funny Faces Sticker Fun! Activity Tote lets kids have solo play and teaches them hand-eye coordination while fostering an imagination. You get four cards of different faces, plus six pages of 80+ reusable stickers to create funny faces, costumes and unique looks. Kids can take this to a restaurant, too, easy to clean up since everything goes right in the tote.
For more information on other customizable products, see www.pkpress.com.
We received Eco-Dough to try out from Eco-Kids, and it is a wonderful play dough to work with.
It has great smells and nice consistency since it is made with plant, fruit and veggie extracts from beets, spinach, paprika, carrots, purple sweet potato, red cabbage, blueberries and tomatoes. It has no chemicals or artificial dyes in it, and they also make a gluten free version. If it's left out overnight, just add a few drops of olive oil and it comes right back.
The containers are made from cornstarch and 100% compostable materials (100% post consumer waste and 100% post consumer recycled plastic). Check out more of their great products at www.ecokidsusa.com
Let's Talk about Feeling Angry and Let's Talk about Feeling Afraid
We received these books from Joy Berry, an educator, human developmentalist, and the inventor of self-help books for kids. These books are a great way to introduce kids to how to deal with their feelings. Let's Talk about Feeling Angry and Let's Talk about Feeling Afraid are great training tools because they describe situations when a child might feel angry or afraid and why.
They also come with a read along CD and song sung by children. For more great books by Joy Berry, search Parentville.com or store.joyberrybooks.com.
