The Parentville Fave Five - Go, Go, Go! Travel Tips with Kids in the New Year
Parentville.com Winter seems long already! If you are thinking of getting away for a long weekend - to the next town or across the country- here are our members' best advice on items for travel with baby and kids!
First, register by Jan. 17 with Parentville to win a travel games pack from Peaceable Kingdom Press - great for any trips planned and an early Valentines's Day gift!
Second, we are including 10% off to get Nomie Baby's car seat cover - this is a must-have for any traveling parent. USE THE CODE "Pville" at checkout from this link.
Parentville had a chance to try the stylish B.Box, in which you can comfortably keep diapers, wipes (with a dual opening for bottoms or sticky fingers), changing pad (included!), cream or sanitizer. There's a flexible "arm" that holds down the diapers and pad so that it can't slip out. The b.box is BPA-free and keeps its contents from getting wet if something spills in it in a diaper bag.
The Go Hybrid Booster seat by Safety 1st is a portable car seat for cab riding and travel. It's the most lightweight seat (8lbs) and comes with a case. Note, it can only be used with cars made in 2003 and older which should have a seat latch to attach the 5-point harness (which connects the whole seat belt).
FOOGO Stainless Steel Sippy Cup
We recommend this vacuum insulated, stainless steel sippy cup with soft spout and handles by Foogo, a division of Thermos. It keeps milk cold or warm on the go! Kids can eventually transition to a hard spout or straw-top model.

With great design, quality and construction, the Ergo Baby Carrier is the only one that you will need from birth to 40 lbs. It's best for your back because it holds at the hips. It can be used as a front, back or hip carrier, and has a rain/wind/breastfeeding cover and small pocket.
GO-ing Skiing out West? Activities for kids!
And finally, as an example of advice our parents give to other parents, we received some great tips on traveling to Vail, CO. See more details and contact information at Parentville. This is just one of the many requests answered on Parentville
There is a great gymnastics center with "Toddler Bear" classes for the little ones; Avon Recreation Center has a large kid-friendly pool; Vail Public Library has a story-telling and crafts hour; the Nature Discovery Center located at Eagles Nest has lots to see and do, even on the way up!
