The Eggland's Best Pink Dozen
In honor of breast cancer awareness month, Eggland's Best has selected yours truly to be one of their "Pink Dozen" ambassadors. What does that mean? Simple, I'm hear to help spread the word about Eggland's Best and their efforts to raise awareness and funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The brand will display Komen for the Cure's running ribbon logo (along with a pink version of the "EB" stamp) on select egg varieties and they've pledged to donate $50,000 to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure® in its promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever.
While Eggland's Best are a staple in our home, they can also help you lead a healthy lifestyle because the eggs contain all-natural and highly digestible nutrients that are critically important for improving overall health and antioxidant protection. It's great to know that my favorite weekend omelets are not only good for me, but could protect me in the long run.
As part of the breast cancer awareness campaign, Eggland's Best is hoping you'll join Susan G. Komen today on twitter and facebook. Visit 69-Seconds.org for more information on how you can help break a Guiness world record for Most Widespread Social Network Message in 24 Hours. According to the website, "Every 69 seconds, a woman dies of breast cancer globally. Don't wait 69 seconds to make an impact."
I hope you'll join me this month as we turn the spotlight on breast cancer awareness with the help of Eggland's Best. Be on the lookout for inspiring stories of breast cancer survivors, fabulous omelet recipes and a brunch party hosted by a mom who sadly lost her own mother to the disease. If you would like to share a story or tell us your favorite breakfast dish, please comment and join us as we support Eggland's Best and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
