A Method Cocktail Party

Whoever said cocktails and cleaning products don't mix has never been introduced to Method. This past week, we got the chance to attend a special cocktail party sponsored by Method. When we arrived, the place looked like a regular store featuring their fabulous products (my personal favorite, the Daily Shower mist), but then we were taken to a secret back room that actually resembled a city apartment!

As soon as we stepped inside, an incredibly friendly Method representative handed us a delicious summer sangria, we feasted on some yummy appetizers and then sat down to chat with some of the guests including eco-designer Robin Wilson (who just was named a winner of Make Mine A Million), NY Metroparents editor Judy Antell, One2One Network marketing guru Barbara Jones as well as several enterprising women and a few husbands (including my own) who took a break out of their busy day to socialize and sample a selection of eco-friendly drinks.

Once everyone had arrived, we were invited by Natalie - aka - The Liquid Muse (that's what she calls herself) to partake in a Sustainable Sips class where she uses organic and eco-friendly ingredients in some of our favorite summer drinks. From there, we sampled cucumber mojitos, margarita martinis and a few more delectable creations and before we knew it, it was time to leave. :<

But before we did, we got to take a few snapshots in a photo booth where we confessed our cleaning sins (I stuff all my junk into drawers and closets to hide my messes) and then we were presented with a treasure trove of Method products - including some great soaps for kids too!
